Medical studies with final doctorate in Cologne in 1994, further training as specialist for internal medicine until 2000, parallel studies as Diplom-Krankenhausbetriebswirt (VKD) with graduation in 2000, subsequently activities as head of department quality management/medical controlling in a hospital of priority care in Rhineland-Palatinate (2001-2005), commercial director of a basic and standard care hospital in North Rhine-Westphalia (2005-2010) and managing director of a health and social enterprise based in Rhineland-Palatinate (2010-2014); Subsequently medical director of a hospital providing priority care in Rhineland-Palatinate (2014-2019) with qualifications and clinical activities in emergency medicine, hospital hygiene and antibiotic management, since 2019 in the function of head of a staff unit for medical and risk management in a health and social enterprise in Rhineland-Palatinate; since 2002 professor of hospital management at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences/RheinAhrCampus Koblenz (Department of Economics and Social Sciences) with the focal points listed below.
